“The sacredness of the present moment…”[1]
This line, written by my friend and seminary professor, Steve Harper, is only part of a sentence from one of his Facebook posts… but that phrase has resonated with me ever since I read it…. I will continue to use it as a centering thought…. because if Jesus’ promise to his disciples, that he would “be with [us] always, even to the end of the age”[2] holds true, then every moment in life is sacred, if only because The Sacred One is present with us…
